Job Description
- Provide application support 4 days a week and 1 day over the weekend to ensure seamless operations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Analyse logs, FIX messages, and other primary sources to determine the root cause of trading and quoting issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve system‑related queries.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Document support activities and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
- Assist in deploying updates and patches to applications as required.
- Provide training and guidance to end‑users on application usage when necessary.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company applications and systems.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years experience in application support in the financial services industry, especially in trading.
- Proficiency with investigations related to trade execution and market data distribution processes and lifecycles.
- Understanding of FIX protocol.
- MetaTrader 4/5 application knowledge is preferred/desired.
- Valuable knowledge of TCP/IP and networking.
- Basic knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with software applications and system monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
