Amtek is currently recruiting foran Senior and Qualified Auto Electrician to oversee installations within our Specialised Projects Production Team
Your main responsibilities will include:
Coordinate Auto Electrical assembly / installation within our Specialised team
These projects are custom installations and requires an Auto Electrician experienced
You will work closely with the Team Leader and production team of various trades to plan installations.
Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles, including. harnesses, light bars, message boards, sirens, antennas, speaker units.
Installation, service and diagnostics of vehicle air con unit
Programming OEM Computer Systems.
Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
Teaching other tradesman and apprentices
When needed installation of non electrical components
You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail working towards strictdeadlines.
What we need from you:
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and or engineering
Minimum 6 years related experience within similar industry
Ability to solve practical problems and think on your feet.
Motivated, reliable and committed.
Work well under pressure and towards deadlines.
