About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for two Systems Engineers to join our team based in Adelaide & Melbourne, reporting to the Systems Engineering Lead.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.
* Provide systems engineering input across all stages of the product life cycle, from requirements elicitation through to integration, test and acceptance.
* Determine appropriate requirement sets for use in HF products.
* Utilise domain, discipline and systems engineering knowledge to enable, support and deliver products robustly, demonstrating they meet their requirements and are fit for purpose.
You will be responsible for working with other members of the Systems Team, under direction and in support of the Systems Engineering Lead. They will also work with the other project design (software, hardware, mechanical, etc.) Engineers and support teams to ensure a systems-orientated, integrated approach to the project engineering development and verification activities.
About You
A University degree level engineering qualification preferably within a Systems, Electronics, Software or Mechatronics discipline is required.
Demonstrated systems engineering experience coupled with engineering experience in a relevant discipline is essential.
Proven ability to function confidently within a project team environment with demonstrated problem solving skills is required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously is necessary.
Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables is essential.
