About the role
Lifecare are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Receptionist to join our dedicated team and positively contribute to the exceptional care of our patients. This is a casual role.
This position given its nature is required to deliver a professional and confidential service whilst also demonstrating a high quality of customer service orientation.
In this role you will be
Answering and addressing incoming telephone queries in a timely and polite manner
Supporting the team of Physiotherapists and Allied Health professionals
Scheduling patient appointments and answering general queries
Processing payments, invoicing and balancing daily banking
Collecting payment of unpaid invoices
Assisting with stock taking and ordering of medical and allied health stock
General housekeeping duties including general tidying of clinic rooms, clinic waiting areas, kitchen clean up and replenishing items in mentioned areas
Opening and closing the clinic
Various other administrative duties

Polished and professional presentation, punctual with a high level of self-motivation to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Excellent telephone manner
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
Experience working in a fast paced, medical or clinical environment would be an advantage
High level accuracy and attention to detail, with the flexibility and adaptability to organise and prioritise, work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
Experience in providing administrative assistance in a corporate environment
Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Committed to working within a team environment
Flexibility to cover sick and annual leave
Excellent written and verbal communication skills when liaising with internal and external stakeholders
