Cybersecurity Graduate Opportunity

Thales is seeking a motivated and skilled cybersecurity graduate to join their team. As a cybersecurity analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing security alerts, identifying potential threats, and coordinating responses with internal and external teams.


About the Role

* This 18-month graduate program will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.
* You will have the opportunity to rotate through various roles within the cybersecurity team, including security engineer, security analyst, threat analyst, and intelligence analyst.

In this role, you will be working closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as:

* Security alert analysis and incident response
* Threat identification and mitigation
* Security tool development and implementation
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.


Requirements

* Final-year student or recent graduate in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (graduating by early 2026).
* Proven leadership through work, internships, or extracurriculars; skilled communicator who thrives in team settings and engages stakeholders effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities; capable of juggling multiple priorities with ease.
* Strong presentation and client-facing skills, committed to delivering quality service outcomes.
* Problem Solving mindset with experience in evaluating security incidents and crafting thoughtful responses.
* Self-driven learner excited by the cybersecurity space, proficient in MS Office and digital tools.

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
