Job Duties
* Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in foundation, framing, roofing, cement finishing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating, and painting.
* Manage day‐to‐day activities on site and ensure the project runs smoothly from start to finish as per Building code.
* Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors.
* Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
* Manage construction sub‐trades and suppliers on the job site and mitigate issues as they arise.
* Requisition materials and supplies.
* Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
* Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
* Prepare work progress reports.
* May manage the operations of the company.
* Select tools, equipment, and construction materials from storage and transport items to work site.
* Assist and work closely with concrete finishers, carpenters, floorers, drywall installers and painters to complete tasks.
* May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.
* Clean work areas, machines and equipment to maintain a clean and safe job site, free of debris.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of site supervisory experience.
* Minimum 3–5 years siding, flooring, painting, concrete finishing (preferably) or carpentry experience.
* Punctual & reliable.
* Hardworking & self‐motivated.

* Team player and a positive motivator.
* Safety conscience.
* Job site preparation and organization.
