About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team in Townsville, Queensland.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and impeccable personal presentation.
They will be reliable and driven to succeed, with experience working as a Chef in a fast-paced high volume venue for at least 2 years.
Responsibilities
* Enforce hygiene regulations and ensure kitchen staff adhere to them.
* Oversee kitchen operations, including ordering stock and managing inventory.
* Design and create innovative dishes that exceed customer expectations.
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, complying with regulations and guidelines.
* Preserve and store foodstuffs in temperature-controlled facilities to ensure quality and safety.
Requirements
* Cert IV in Commercial Cookery (Preferred) and Diploma of Hospitality or equivalent required.
