Senior Governance Role
We have a compelling opportunity for an experienced governance and risk professional seeking to join our General Counsel and Risk Department. Ideally based in Sydney, but may be based in any of our other Australian offices.
This role involves overseeing Dentons' responses to claims and complaints, managing business acceptance processes including conflicts clearance, and managing a team of 5.
Key priorities include responding to forthcoming AML legislation, providing training for all staff on risk issues, and advising on contractual arrangements.
This role requires experience as a conflicts lawyer or within a law firm Office of General Counsel, or a senior lawyer with relevant corporate, commercial, litigation and/or compliance or company secretarial experience.
