As a Duct Installer you will be responsible for the installation of mechanical service ductwork, fan coils, fans, flexi duct, and grilles. **Responsibilities**:
- Install mechanical service ductwork, ensuring accuracy, proper fit, and adherence to project specifications.
- Set up and mount fan coils, fans, flexi duct, and grilles to support the efficient operation of HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members, including HVAC technicians and contractors, to ensure seamless coordination on projects.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure working environment and minimize on-site risks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a professional and efficient work environment.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify the integrity and functionality of the installed duct systems.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a duct installer, with a strong track record of successful installations in commercial and/or residential settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ductwork materials, fabrication, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with various HVAC systems, fan coils, fans, flexi duct, and grilles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome challenges during installations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contractors.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and a clean working environment.
- Physical capability to work in confined spaces and at heights, as required in the installation process.
- Construction industry White Card.
- Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Own battery kit and hand tools.
- Current DCSI clearance or willing to obtain
- Any relevant certifications or licenses would be an advantage.
**Non-Negotiable**:
- Must have rights to work in Australia
Work locations vary across Adelaide & Metropolitan areas, travel outside these areas may be required on occasions, including some overtime & weekend work.
