Up to $130k plus super plus salary packaging
Abrs manages a team of professionals who support individuals and families within the Department of Defence.
The position of Social Worker is located in Winnellie, NT, with occasional travel to Tindal required.
The successful applicant will provide support for Defence personnel and their families requiring assistance for a range of complex issues.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing face-to-face social work services to members and their families
* Conducting welfare and risk assessments
* Creating detailed reports with high attention to detail
* Working within a multidisciplinary team to meet Defence members' and families' needs
* Managing a varied caseload to ensure timely report creation and submission in line with Defence policies
To be considered for this role, you will:
* Hold a Degree in Social Work
* Be able to work independently and within a supportive team environment
* Have a minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience in a social work-related role
* Demonstrate crisis intervention and risk assessment skills
* Possess excellent communication (written and oral) and report writing skills
* Be available for full-time work (5 days per week)
* Hold an Australian Driver's License with the ability to travel occasionally
* You must be an Australian Citizen
Additional information:
