VETERINARIAN
Location: Somerset, TAS 7322
Tenure: Full-time, permanent
Salary: From $80,000 - $95,000 per year (plus superannuation)
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinarian to join our team.
We are a busy veterinary practice providing high-quality care to small animals, livestock, and companion pets.
Required skills and experience:
• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) recognised in Australia
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Veterinarian preferred
• Robust surgical and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases in animals
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures
• Conduct health checks, vaccinations, and dental care
• Provide professional advice to clients regarding animal health and nutrition
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations
• Participate in after-hours rosters as required
