Based out of our Clayton branch, we're seeking a highly skilled Field Service A Grade Electrician – Power Generation to join our Field Service team on a full-time, permanent basis, reporting to the Field Service Supervisor.
In this hands-on field role, you'll work with some of the most advanced Caterpillar power generation systems in the industry – diagnosing, servicing and repairing critical equipment that supports industrial, commercial and essential operations. Every job you take on plays a key role in delivering safe, reliable power and real value for our customers.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Your typical day will include:
Onsite trouble shooting, diagnostics, repair and maintenance of Caterpillar power generation systems with mechanical and electrical.
Fitting of electrical safety equipment
Follow all regulations and industry practices
Completion of all required paperwork accurately and timely
Provide workable solutions to our customers
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
Trade qualified 'A Grade Electrician'
Strong electrical and electro-mechanical skills
Highly skilled in the servicing, maintenance and repair of generators of various types and sizes, experience working on Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills of all types of electrical systems
Good computer skills and user knowledge of laptop diagnostic software
Hold a current drivers license
Have a strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
Be willing to support and assist the Mechanical Technicians when required
