About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parabroker/Credit Analyst professional to join our existing Parabroking team.
This is a full time position (Monday to Friday) with a predominant work from home arrangement as our team are located nationwide.
Our Parabrokers form one part of the end to end loan fulfilment service that CLPC Solutions provides to assist mortgage brokers with their clients home loan application journey.
You will receive full support of a loan processing team who manage the basic data entry and admin on an application, while you provide your expertise in the areas of product research and analysis, lender serviceability, reviewing and validating key application documentation in line with lender policies and compliance and preparing and packaging applications for lender submission.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with multiple brokers using different aggregation software at any given time
* Conduct product research and analysis based on clients' requirements
* Determine the correct loan structure based on clients' requirements
* Complete lender serviceability and funding calculators
* Order valuations and pricing requests
* Review each application to verify that all documentation is available, valid and accurate and is in line with lender requirements and compliance
* Review and analyse income documents, bank statements and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of applicants
* Review data entry of the client information into aggregator CRMs
* Prepare & package all loan submissions then subsequently submit via AOL
* Liaise with the broker to prepare compliance notes and generate compliance documents and lender applications for clients to sign
* Follow a detailed process checklist
About You
* Solid understanding of mortgage deals, credit principles and loan application documentation
* Strong problem-solving skills and documentation analysis
* High attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise well and manage your daily tasks to ensure deadlines are met
* Demonstrate a strong customer focus with a positive, can-do attitude
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle pressure at peak times
* Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
Skills & Experience
* 2+ years experience in a similar role in the mortgage broking industry
* Strong computer skills with a proficiency at learning and working with multiple software applications and systems
* Familiarity of credit policies across all major lenders
* Experience with ApplyOnline and loan submissions with all major lenders
* Experience with AFG FLEX and Broker Engine is preferred
* Additional experience with MyCRM, Salestrekker and/or Mercury would be an advantage
* Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (preferred but not essential)
