Our Local Government Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse range of capital works, infrastructure, and environmental projects across the region. This position is an immediate start.
As Project Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership to a team of specialists and ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including feasibility, design, procurement, contract management, WHS, and compliance.
- Act as a Representative, overseeing contractors and consultants.
- Liaise with stakeholders, providing accurate reporting and professional advice.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the Organisation's standards.
About You:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in delivering complex infrastructure or service projects within government or similar environments.
- Experience leading a large team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence (essential).
- Postgraduate qualifications in contract or project management (desirable).
