About the role
This is a chance to step into a high impact Underground Training Advisor role, people first role where your experience, confidence and care for others genuinely shapes how work gets done underground.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Superintendent, you'll be a trusted presence on site, guiding, coaching and assessing our teams so they can perform their roles safely, competently and with pride.
With an internal promotion creating this opportunity, you'll step into a visible, people facing role that requires consistency, confidence and a one-team approach to influence how work gets done underground.
This position is hands on and fast paced. From delivering underground inductions and external accredited courses to building training programs and verifying competency, you'll be right at the heart of capability building at Aurelia.
Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only)
Location: Peak Gold Mine, Cobar NSW
Travel Options: Residential, DIDO, FIFO

Key responsibilities
* Deliver underground inductions and accredited external courses such as:
* First Aid
* CPR
* LVR
* Confined Space
* Assess and verify operator competency to ensure safe, capable performance
* Develop and maintain clear, fit-for-purpose training programs and materials
* Maintain accurate training records in the Learning Management System
* Support compliance through audits, verification activities, and corrective actions
* Coach, guide, and support teams to build skills and confidence underground
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) — essential
* Experience delivering competency-based training on mine sites
* Underground operational experience – highly regarded
* Competent in operating various underground or surface equipment
* Confident delivering training to groups and individuals
* Strong computer skills; experience writing training programs & using LMS
* Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
