Job Title: Permits and Planning Administrator
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage permits and planning for our organisation.
This role involves coordinating with engineers and project managers to prepare and submit permits, including submissions to Councils, Road Authorities & DOT.
You will be responsible for maintaining the Permit register and records management, preparing information required for monthly reports on building and construction activities, and creating, coordinating and amending TMP (Traffic Management Plan) or a TGS (Traffic Guidance Scheme).
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of general road construction, timeframes and procedures for DOT, Council and other stakeholder permits & procedures.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and team-player values are essential for this role. The successful candidate will also possess safety leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and team members.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating with engineers and project managers to prepare and submit permits.
* Maintaining the Permit register and records management.
* Preparing information required for monthly reports on building and construction activities.
* Creating, coordinating and amending TMP (Traffic Management Plan) or a TGS (Traffic Guidance Scheme).
Qualifications & Requirements:
* A Construction Induction Card (CPCCWHS1001A)
* Traffic Control Tickets – Use Stop Slow Bat (RIIWHS205D)
* Traffic Control Tickets – Implement Traffic Management Plan (RIIWHS302D)
* Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (RIICWD503A) or equivalent
* Solid understanding of general road construction, timeframes and procedures for DOT, Council and other stakeholder permits & procedures
* A strong work ethic, reliability, and team-player values
* Safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment
* Ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and team members
