About the role

The Compliance, Risk and Governance Manager plays a critical role in supporting the identification, coordination, and management of risk and assurance activities across all Katungul operations and programs. This role ensures that Katungul maintains a clear and current view of its operational and strategic risk landscape, including risks related to technology, infrastructure, WHS, third-party suppliers, and people.

The Bega Site Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective, safe, and secure operations of Katungul's Bega site. This includes overseeing infrastructure, day-to-day facilities operations, WHS, asset management, and coordinating building maintenance with the Katungul Coordinator Infrastructure and Maintenance. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all operational and logistical needs are met so frontline staff can focus on delivering high-quality services to community.

What you'll be doing

· Compliance and Assurance Leadership.

· Continuous Quality Improvement & Accreditation.

· Complaints Management.

· Risk Management.

· Governance and Policy Development.

· Security and Safety Oversight.

· Bega Site Management.

What we're looking for

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in compliance, risk management, health administration, or a related field.

· Accreditation or certification in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) is desirable.

· Demonstrated experience in operations, facilities, or site management.

· Strong understanding of WHS, facilities compliance, and risk management.

· Proven experience in compliance, assurance, or risk management roles within health, community, or government sectors.

· Experience in leading complaints management and quality improvement initiatives.

· Demonstrated success in supporting accreditation processes and audit assessments.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

· Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and programs.

· High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.

· High level of initiative and ability to manage competing priorities.

· The ability to work within a cross-cultural environment and knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

· Ability to develop and maintain strong relationship building skills across government agencies and community organisations.

· Confirmation of Aboriginality.

Salary

· $105,000 – $110,000 negotiable.

· Save tax and increase your take home pay by salary packaging your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900), meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum plus additional regional remote area benefit.

· Relocation costs up to $5,000.
