Duties may include:
Lay-up of fibreglass laminates comprising chopped strand glass mat, woven roving and uni-directional rovings using vinyl ester and isophlhalic polyesters resins with MEKP and BPO catalysts systems.
Preparation of overlay areas by abrading with electric or air driven grinders.
Cutting of laminate with diamond tipped disc blades.
Mould making using particle board, laminate and pine timber using jig saws, planer circular saw small power tools.
Housekeeping - Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy.
Look after and maintain small tools.
