A leading print company with head office in Australia and production plants located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Auckland (New Zealand) is recruiting a proficient Bindery Operator to join our busy production team in Adelaide.
About the role
We currently have a vacancy for a Bindery Operator to operate our Folders & Guillotine on day shift, 5 days per week 6.00am to 2.00pm based at our Adelaide site in North Plympton.
The successful candidate must have the following experience and attributes:
§ Ideally trade qualified with several years' experience, however candidates with appropriate industry training & knowledge will be considered.
§ Demonstrate a strong focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
§ Set up, run and adjust folding machines, in particular large MBO & Stahl models
§ Set up programmes and operate Polar Guillotine
§ Check quality of printed materials
§ Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities
§ Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions
§ Can work unsupervised and lead by example
§ A team player who can add value through proactively working with peers, trouble-shooting and suggesting improvements
§ An excellent communicator
§ High standard of quality and attention to detail
