Electrical Field Service Engineer Opportunity
Talent Aligned seeks an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our service team. This role involves ensuring customer sites operate smoothly through high-quality installation, commissioning, and ongoing service support.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission, and service a range of specialized electronic systems
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to urgent breakdowns
* Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and control system faults
* Provide after-hours standby support as part of a roster
* Deliver basic operator or technical training when required
* Conduct site surveys and support project preparation activities
* Complete service reports, documentation, and compliance paperwork
* Ensure all work meets internal QA, HSE, and environmental standards
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional onsite service
* Travel predominantly across QLD, with occasional interstate work
About You
* Minimum 2+ years in field service, maintenance, or technical support roles
* Trade or degree qualifications in electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Good communication, time management, and customer-facing capability
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Computer literacy and experience using diagnostic or configuration software
* Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
* Highly regarded
* Experience with specialized or high-reliability electronic systems
* Exposure to networking, control systems, or computer hardware integration
* Understanding of QA, HSE, or regulated site compliance requirements
