Working on a range of projects, some with the prospective capital value up to, and exceeding, $150M, this role will give you the opportunity to develop and shape your career, with opportunities to travel and be mobile, and opportunities to carve a career within our supportive North Queensland offices.Typical types of projects include – Transport and Main Roads (TMR) road remediation/upgrade and new, local government capital delivery (civil, roads, infrastructure) and Disaster Recovery.About the roleLead and deliver projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard — drawing on your strong background in contract administration and program management.Drive local strategic growth by taking initiative and contributing to the development of our Project Management (PgM) capability, positioning yourself as a future leader within the business.Inspire and guide teams, using your people skills to mentor staff and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.Apply your deep understanding of Australian standards to ensure the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.Take ownership of project responsibilities, confidently acting as the Superintendent's Representative or Project Manager across a variety of projects, liaising closely with clients and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.QualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.

About you:Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, with strong skills in contract administration and project/program management.Strong leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and growing team capability.In-depth understanding of Australian standards and experience acting as a Project Manager or Superintendent's Representative.Engineering qualifications (RPEQ/CPEng desirable) and ideally 10+ years' industry experience from contractor or client-side roles.Business development and transport infrastructure experience (e.g.
