Account Executive – Construction (Junior/Senior)
Location: Melbourne, VIC
A growing Construction Technology provider is expanding its Melbourne-based sales team and is seeking both a Junior Account Executive and a Senior Account Executive.
The business delivers a purpose-built mini ERP solution for builders, supporting projects across insurance, commercial, and residential construction. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing sales environment with strong earning potential and clear progression.
About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business and building strong relationships with construction businesses. You will work closely with builders to understand their operational challenges and demonstrate how the platform can improve efficiency, visibility, and project outcomes.
For the right senior candidate, there is scope to step into a Player/Manager role while continuing to maintain a personal sales portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to contract execution
* Engage with builders to understand their operational requirements and workflows
* Present and sell a construction-focused ERP solution
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships
* Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding and customer success
* Provide leadership and mentoring (Senior / Player-Manager opportunity)
About You
* Proven experience in a sales or account executive role
* Background in Construction, Trades, or Construction Technology (ConTech) needed
* Strong understanding of construction processes and commercial drivers
* Consultative sales approach with excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and commercially focused
* Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
Junior Account Executive
* Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + Super
* On-Target Earnings: $200,000
Senior Account Executive
* Base Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 + Super
* On-Target Earnings: $240,000
