About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Administration Assistant - Heavy Diesel to join the team at JB's diesel & mechanical in Townsville, Queensland. This role is crucial in supporting the overall operations of the heavy diesel workshop and will involve a wide range of administrative and customer service duties.
What you'll be doing
* Providing high-quality administrative support to the workshop manager and technicians
* Handling inbound customer enquiries and bookings, ensuring a positive customer experience
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
* Assisting with the coordination of technician schedules and job allocations
* Processing invoices, purchase orders and other financial documentation
* Ordering and managing workshop supplies and materials
* Providing general office support, including data entry, filing and archiving
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within the automotive or heavy diesel industry
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
* Proficient in the use of standard office software
* A positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
