About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Surat Basin‐based field. Working on a 15/13 roster, you'll play a critical role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our power generation and gas processing assets by driving disciplined planning, scheduling, and work management practices. Local residents are encouraged to apply, and flexible FIFO or DIDO arrangements are available.
Key accountabilities will include:

* Coordinating work readiness by engaging early with supervisors, ensuring jobs are fully scoped and documented, and aligning labour, materials, isolations, equipment access, and scheduling constraints to optimise resource utilisation and enable safe, efficient execution. Identifying and addressing resource or scheduling constraints early to minimise downtime and support operational priorities.
* Providing coaching to technicians and supervisors on work management processes, SAP usage, job scoping, digital planning tools, and work order close‐out quality.
* Collaborating with Engineering, Production, and Master Data teams to maintain accurate equipment master data, BOMs, and maintenance strategies, and to support asset reliability.
* Monitoring and reporting on planning performance, including schedule compliance, backlog health, and work quality, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of new tools and technology.
* Identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability, strengthen work quality, and enhance maintenance efficiency through improved planning, tools, and processes.
About You:
* Trade qualification, technical diploma, or degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering (or related discipline).
* Minimum of five years' experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS/maintenance system implementation.
* At least ten years' experience in a heavy industry operational environment.
* Experience working with gas production or processing facilities, including compression equipment, dehydration systems, pressure vessels, pipelines, storage tanks, safety valves, electrical systems, or gas‐fired power generation.
* Demonstrated experience establishing and improving maintenance planning systems, scheduling tools, and maintenance processes.
* Valid driver licence and willingness to travel to remote operational sites as required.
