Join our Market Operations Division within Macquarie as an Executive and be part of the Margining & Collateral Management team. The team you will join is responsible for all aspects of client margining, risk mitigation, asset optimisation and reconciliations for Macquarie businesses globally, but predominantly Commodities and Global Markets.
In this role, you will gain exposure to a wide variety and complexity of products traded within the Commodities & Global Markets division. You will provide operational support through escalation of failed and disputed margin calls, portfolio reconciliation, dispute management, asset optimization, management of daily reconciliations owned by the group, ensuring all breaks are cleared.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced working environment where you will be maintaining the highest level of service by working effectively with senior managers to build out the strategic solution for margining, including implementation of new systems into Macquarie and also working with the various business areas on new initiatives which are essential to the success of the Commodities and Global Markets Trading desks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- management and margining of OTC client exposures
- working with business and other internal stakeholders to deliver both project and business as usual outcomes
- daily credit/risk reporting of firm exposures
- escalation, communication and management of failed and disputed margin calls and other risk impacting issues
- portfolio reconciliation & dispute management
- management of daily reconciliations, ensuring all breaks are cleared
- booking of margin movements, incorporating cash and securities as collateral
- working on our Operational Excellence and Transformation initiatives
You are someone with some experience in OTC product and Collateral management and a proven track record in an operational role. You come with high accuracy and attention to detail and your strong technical ability for complex issue resolution, ability to prioritise competing demands and work well in a change focused environment will see you succeed in this role. You are a team player who is enthusiastic, proactive and flexible.
