About the role
AGL's Macquarie team based at the Bayswater Power Station are looking for a Warehouse Officer to support the safe, efficient and reliable operation of one of Australia's largest power generation sites.
In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring critical materials and equipment are received, stored, and distributed effectively to keep the station running smoothly.

Roster - Monday to Friday - Dayshift - 7:00am to 3:00pm (9-day fortnight)
Location - Bayswater Main Warehouse, based at Bayswater Power Station in the Upper Hunter.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that blends warehouse operations, inventory control, and safe manual handling within an industrial environment.
What you will be doing
Issue, receive, and store goods, checking stock levels and ensuring materials accuracy
Respond to requests from AGL Macquarie employees and contractors regarding stock and materials
Complete annual stocktakes across Bayswater warehouses and satellite stores
Review work processes and make recommendations for improvements
Organise and prepare resources and equipment to commence daily tasks
Maintain a clean, safe workplace and follow all safety procedures, including correct use of PPE
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Work collaboratively within a small warehouse team, contributing to its overall effectiveness
What you will bring
You're a reliable, safety‑minded warehouse professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
School Certificate or equivalent
Knowledge and experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
Understanding of OH&S requirements and the Dangerous Goods Act
Forklift licence (required) and MR (Medium Rigid) truck licence (highly desirable)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP Materials Management (MM)
Understanding of commercial practices within warehouse/logistics operations
Strong organisation skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and positive team contribution
Flexible, enthusiastic approach to a varied workload

Physical Requirements:
This role involves regular work on an operational power station site, as well as medium‑to‑heavy physical demands, including manual handling and equipment operation.
