About the role
Subee PL is a locally based community aged care and NDIS service and is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to join their team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This part-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality financial administration and support to the business. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of the company's accounting functions.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing and reconciliation
* Maintaining general ledger accounts and producing accurate financial reports
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
* Performing bank reconciliations and cash flow management
* Providing administrative support to the finance team as required
* Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar accounting/finance role or trainee working towards qualification would also be considered.
* A minimum of 2+ years of Finance Officer or similar accounting/finance experience
* Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
* Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as MYOB
* Proficiency in MYOB accounting software
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance would be highly regarded and option for a trainee would be considered.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
* Experience in the care industry and with aged care and /or NDIS service delivery and knowledge of funding and access to relevant portals an advantage.
