Responsibilities
* Assist with excavating and preparing trenches for stormwater and drainage pipe installation.
* Perform heavy manual handling, including positioning and manoeuvring pipes during installation.
* Provide off-siding and spotting support to the Excavator Operator.
* Support qualified pipelayers as required.
* Carry out general site labouring duties.
* Assist with asphalting and kerbing works when needed.
* Interpret plans, work independently, and complete stormwater/sewerage installations confidently (pipelayer duties, where applicable).
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Drainer, Labourer, or Pipelayer in a civil construction setting.
* Ability to perform physically demanding work.
* Current driver's licence.
* Valid Construction Blue/White Card.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 - 55 per week
