NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support a major WA resources project, delivering large capital works across design and construction phases. This position is ideal for an engineer with full project lifecycle experience and a strong design focus.
* Location: Booragoon for the first 6 months – 2 years
* Contract: 12 month initial term (high likelihood of extension)
* Rate: $120 per hour + super (Senior level)
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
* Additional benefits: Fortnightly pay, EAP contractor support, Dedicated NES Fircroft consultant
About you:
* Experience in mining, refining, or heavy industrial environments (brownfields highly regarded)
* Strong knowledge of LV/HV systems and protection
* Comfortable working across both office and site phases
* Senior engineers must be capable of leading work packages and mentoring others
* Reside south of the river
Role responsibility:
* Deliver electrical engineering across design, execution, commissioning, and handover
* Produce LV/HV design, including protection, MCCs, drives, earthing, lighting, and power distribution
* Provide engineering support to construction, commissioning, and asset owner teams
* Prepare scopes, technical documentation, and review vendor submissions
* Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and other engineering disciplines
