We are seeking part time Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team within Hamilton, Victoria. This position will suit self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Specific duties include:
* Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
* Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
* Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
Skills and experience:
* Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
* Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
* Sound clinical knowledge.
* Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
* Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
* A current Driver's License.
* Rights to work in Australia.
