The Role
Business Development Specialist - Medical & Specialty South NSW
This position involves the management of customer relations and the supervision of daily sales operations for Specialty and Medical Gases within an assigned sales region in NSW.
* Proactively liaising with your customer network
* Maintain and grow current customer accounts
* Generate new business and seek out prospects to maintain a profitable sales territory and expand customer outreach
* Develop your knowledge of products and value proposition to effectively communicate with current and potential customers
* Produce proposals, detailed costings and contractual documents to ensure all transactions deliver maximum profit to the business
* Monitor market trends through customer and supplier liaison and through attending industry events
* Attend industry events and networking activities
* Collaborate with other teams, including sales team members, depots and customer service, to drive customer solutions
* Territory: flexible, dependent on where a candidate is located
Skills & Experience
* 2-3 years' experience within a similar customer account-focused role or Medical Device Sales experience is advantageous
* Motivated and sales-driven individual
* Can understand and articulate technical information
