Star of the Sea Primary School in Rockingham is seeking a Nominated Supervisor/Educational Leader. The role is full-time, 1.0 FTE, ongoing.
About the School
Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is a co‐educational school with approximately 800 students from Early Learning to Year 6. It offers a broad curriculum with specialist teachers and supportive learning environments.
Selection Criteria
* A genuine commitment to living and promoting the Catholic ethos of Star of the Sea Vision and Values
* Ability to be patient, tolerant, reliable and flexible in the classroom and workplace
* Experience as a leader within a childcare setting and sound knowledge of the EYLF, MTOP, National Law and Regulations
* Demonstrated ability to empathise with and understand young children
* Proven ability to work collaboratively, build trust and display integrity
* Sound written and verbal communication skills
Required Qualifications
* Attainment of or working towards a Diploma of Education and Care or an equivalent/higher qualification
* Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Accreditation to work in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates (HLTAID012/HLTAID009) and current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates or willingness to obtain/renew prior to commencement
