About the Role
As the Industry Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting students to access School Based Apprenticeships and vocational training opportunities. You will work collaboratively with business and industry groups to build strong partnerships that promote apprenticeships as a career pathway for students.
Key responsibilities include:
* Source Australian School Based Apprenticeships (ASBA) opportunities for students by actively seeking placements in industry.
* Develop and maintain relationships with employers, training providers, and apprenticeship support agencies.
* Promote the school's technical model to stakeholders and position apprenticeships as a preferred career pathway.
* Manage the work experience placement program, including monitoring students in the workplace and maintaining records.
* Collaborate with the Senior Schooling team to track student achievement and outcomes in vocational pathways.
This role would suit someone passionate about empowering young people to achieve their career goals through vocational education and training.
About You

* Experience working with young people aged 15 to 18 years in schools.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills with business and industry groups.
* Knowledge of vocational education and training pathways, including apprenticeships.
* Ability to manage programs and track student progress effectively.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders and delivering information sessions.
