About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader, for our Orange Branch. The successful applicant will be a dynamic, engaging, leader, who has determination and passion to deliver high quality services. The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations and service delivery in Supported Independent Living homes and Individual Community supports, ensuring person-centered, client focused services.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships and engagement with participants, families, carers, and stakeholders in all aspects of service delivery and planning ensuring individualised, participant driven services
* Maintain rosters across multiple service models & locations to provide continuity of service delivery, quality individual supports and ensure compliance with participant funding, plans and NDIS Price Guide
* Recruitment, onboarding, supervision and mentoring for support workers fostering a cohesive team that work collaboratively and deliver quality services
* Monitor and maintain compliance obligations in line with NDIA Quality Indicators and Practice Standards, Disability Services Act Standards, SCHADS Award, other relevant legislative requirements and NPDS policy and procedures.
About You
* Relevant qualification in Disability, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services
* Extensive experience, with demonstrated active hands on in direct client support and leadership / supervisory role.
* Working experience across a variety of service models such as SIL, STA and individual community, in-home services
* Strong leadership skills, a can-do teamwork attitude with proven ability to engage support workers
* Well-developed written and oral communication skills and proven ability to liaise effectively with participants, stakeholders, other employees, and external agencies
* Outstanding time management and organisation skills with an eye for detail
* IT & computer savvy, with ability to use and maintain NPDS internal CRM software and connected apps, Email, MS Office (Word, Excel)
* Strong administration skills and experience in rostering, timesheets, document, and record management, including staff and client intakes, onboarding, monitor, review & update of compliance requirements.
* Local experience is preferred
* Willingness and flexibility to actively participate in On Call

* Valid WWC
* Current National Police Check
* Valid Driver's License and Own Vehicle
