The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time National Export Documentation Officer, to join our team based in the heart of Fremantle, Perth. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing and preparing accurate export documentation, making sure everything meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate export documentation daily, ensuring high standards and attention to detail.
* Verify destination country and customs requirements before issuing documents.
* Review validation reports to minimise errors and ensure compliance.
* Send final shipping details (DTX) on time to MSC's Global Head Office and destination ports.
* Provide draft shipping documents to customers promptly for review.
* Submit cargo information to port authorities by the required deadlines.
* Issue official shipping documents after the vessel has departed.
* Respond to customer queries quickly and professionally, delivering excellent service.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Prior experience in shipping, logistics or a related industry is advantageous but not essential.
