Overview
The Store Manager oversees all aspects of operations, including the service focus and merchandising for their store. This role requires a high level of communication, efficiency, and drive for results.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service Excellence: Leads and supports customer service in both in-store and online shopping experiences, ensuring every employee greets customers with enthusiasm and maintains a positive attitude.
* Sales Growth and Profitability: Drives profitable sales growth by educating customers on current promotions and merchandise assortment, making suggestions to build the customer's basket, and understanding performance targets.
* Team Development and Management: Builds high-performing teams that can accomplish company goals, initiatives, and priorities, and creates an atmosphere where all team members are held accountable for both individual and team performance.
* Operational Efficiency: Ensures effective execution of promotional and merchandising plans, controls expenses, and observes trends and patterns to determine root causes of problems and identify solutions.
Requirements
* Education and Experience: College preferred or 1-3 years management experience in a retail environment.
* Priorities and Skills: Energetic, results-oriented, and competitive with a drive to succeed, proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to ascend/descend a ladder, frequently move around the store, and operate a Point of Sale system efficiently and accurately.
