**The Chance**

The Monash Business School is structured into seven discipline-based departments (Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Law and Taxation, Econometrics and Business Statistics, Economics and Management and Marketing) along with the specialist Leadership and Executive Education unit and several interdisciplinary research centres and labs focused on areas such as behavioural economics, development economics, employment and work, finance, global business, and retail studies. Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a non-profit organisation that is partnered with the Faculty of Business and Economics, and delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science
- and technology-based companies. Its mission is to accelerate the commercialisation of science for the betterment of humankind. CDL is a global program with sites at Paris, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, Seattle, Wisconsin, Estonia, Berlin, and Melbourne.

Monash Business School has identified Industry Engagement as a top priority and has developed a strategic plan to support this goal. As part of the implementation of this plan, the School is seeking a Lecturer (Practice) to lead efforts in building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, creating new partnerships, and providing opportunities for staff and students to engage with industry.
