Key responsibilities include: Overseeing day-to-day delivery of small civil work fronts such as earthworks, drainage, services, pavements and external works Coordinating crews, subcontractors and plant to maintain progress across multiple work areas Setting up the site each day, monitoring safety, signage and environmental controls Assisting with set-out, measurements and quality checks Tracking materials, deliveries and equipment Identifying issues early and resolving them on site or escalating when required The Criteria Proven experience in civil construction in roles such as Leading Hand, Operator, Pipelayer or Labourer Hands-on understanding of earthworks, drainage, services installation and general civil site operations Strong communication skills with the ability to work alongside mixed crews and subcontractors Demonstrated reliability, solid work ethic and a proactive approach to solving on-site issues Confidence coordinating small work fronts and keeping daily tasks on track For a confidential chat, call on or hit
