Part-time Mental Health Nursing Opportunities

Mental health nursing is a highly rewarding and challenging profession that requires a unique blend of clinical expertise, communication skills, and compassion. As a part-time mental health nurse in our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

Our team provides specialized one-to-one counselling, group work, care coordination, and health promotional activities to promote mental, emotional, physical, and social health and wellbeing. We work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

We are seeking registered nurses (RNs) or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, who hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice. As an RN/M2C, you will deliver essential mental health nursing services across various settings, progressing from a competent to a proficient practitioner. You'll take accountability for your practice standards while mentoring less experienced staff.

The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services, addressing the needs of consumers and the community. You will enhance your skills through continuous professional development while providing integrated care across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings. Using preventative, therapeutic, and evaluative approaches, you'll engage in individual and family therapies, group programs, and health promotion initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals and contribute to the provision of high-quality care to our clients. If you are passionate about mental health nursing and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this role.

Please refer to the role description below for more detailed information on the position, responsibilities, and qualifications.
