Visit us at Roles and Responsibilities: An individual with a minimum of 8-to-10 years of experience in roles within the Telecommunication industry, with 3 years as a Business Function Test Lead who has a strong focus on business process analysis, user acceptance testing, and business systems validation related to Order Capture and Order Fulfilment. Key Skills and Proficiencies: 1. Business Flow Process Expertise: * Proficiency Level: Expert * Description: Deep understanding of business process management (BPM) principles, methodologies (e.g., process mapping, modeling, analysis), and related tools within. Ability to analyze, document, and improve complex business workflows. Skilled in aligning processes with business strategy and identifying areas for optimization. 2. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Strategy & Execution: * Proficiency Level: Expert * Description: Proven ability to develop comprehensive UAT strategies, detailed test plans, and manage the entire UAT lifecycle from planning to sign-off. Experienced in coordinating UAT with end-users and business stakeholders. 3. Business-Driven Test Scenario & Test Case Design: * Proficiency Level: Advanced * Description: Skill in designing and facilitating the creation of UAT scenarios and test cases that accurately reflect real-world business use cases and requirements. Focuses on business value and end-user experience. 4. Stakeholder Management & Communication: * Proficiency Level: Expert * Description: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Skilled in building strong relationships, managing expectations, and conveying UAT progress and risks clearly. 5. Defect Management & Business Impact Analysis: * Proficiency Level: Advanced * Description: Proficient in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects raised during UAT. Strong analytical skills to assess the business impact of defects and facilitate their prioritization and resolution. 6. Test Data Management: * Proficiency Level: Intermediate to Advanced * Description: Understanding of test data management principles and the ability to define and implement strategies for acquiring, managing, and maintaining relevant and secure test data for UAT. Experience with test data provisioning processes is a plus. 7. Risk Assessment & Mitigation (Business Context): * Proficiency Level: Intermediate * Description: Ability to identify and assess potential business risks associated with system changes and implement mitigation strategies within the UAT process. 8. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: * Proficiency Level: Advanced * Description: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a business-oriented mindset. Ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions. Responsibilities Business Process Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of core business processes, workflows, and data flows across various departments and systems. Analyze and document these processes to serve as the foundation for validation activities. UAT Strategy and Planning: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, plans, and timelines for new implementations, system enhancements, and process changes. Scenario and Test Case Design (Business-Focused): Design and facilitate the creation of business-driven UAT scenarios and test cases that accurately reflect real-world user interactions and business requirements. Ensure traceability between business requirements and UAT test cases. UAT Execution and Coordination: Oversee and actively participate in the execution of UAT sessions, working closely with end-users and business stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to UAT testers, ensuring clarity and consistency in the testing process. Defect Management (Business Impact Analysis): Manage the identification, documentation, and tracking of defects and issues raised during UAT. Critically analyze the business impact of reported defects and facilitate their prioritization and resolution. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders throughout the validation lifecycle. Effectively communicate UAT progress, findings, and risks to relevant teams and leadership. Process Improvement and Best Practices: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the UAT process and contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies for business process validation. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver training materials and guidance to end-users participating in UAT. Foster a culture of quality and user-centric validation within the organization. Data Validation and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data throughout the business processes and system implementations. Develop and execute validation checks to confirm data quality. Post-Implementation Review: Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the success of deployments and identify lessons learned for future validation efforts. Tools and Technology Advocacy: Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business process validation and UAT activities. Test Data Management: Define and implement strategies for effective test data management, ensuring the availability of relevant, secure, and representative data for UAT activities. Collaborate with relevant teams to provision and manage test data environments. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess potential business risks associated with system implementations and process changes. Develop and implement mitigation strategies within the UAT process to minimize these risks. Qualifications: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in roles within the Telecommunication industry with 3 years as a Business Function test lead with a strong focus on business process analysis, user acceptance testing, and business systems validation. Demonstrated deep understanding of business process modelling, analysis, and optimization techniques. Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive UAT strategies and plans in complex environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and a business-centric perspective. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Experience with defect tracking and management tools. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in developing and delivering training materials and facilitating UAT sessions. Knowledge and practical experience with test data management principles and best practices. Understanding of service virtualization concepts and experience contributing to its implementation in testing environments.
