About the Role
* Based out of our Mackay branch and working with a team of Technicians, across Central Qld Region
* Responsible for testing and servicing and fire protection systems in the area. You will be delivering excellence, whilst exceeding customer expectations, and predominantly working with commercial and industrial clients.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Identify, service, and repair, fire protection safety systems and equipment.
* Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including handheld technology.
* Participate in stock takes and be responsible for inventory management.
* Complete reports.
* Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
About You
* Experience as a qualified Sprinkler Fitter with special hazards, working in the Fire Protection Industry with QBCC license.
* Up-to-date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information.
* A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
* A technical or engineering competency with the ability to complete identified company, industry and occupational training and accreditation.
* A great attitude and willingness to deliver a high standard of work for our client base.
* The ability to use field service information technology applications to complete service job cards.
* Able to work a 7/7 roster
