We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated Production Supervisor to work in our operations department.
**Key functions for this role are**:
- Supervise three software process operators and technicians in the production team to set, assign and achieve daily order targets and ensure they are fulfilled on time and on quality.
- Manage resource allocation and training of people in the software production team. Set work goals for direct reports and review with them regularly.
- Work with cross-functional teams within and outside the Operations team to support business-wide strategic objectives.
- Provide technical assistance to both software and EGM (Electronic Gaming Machine) assembly process.
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to address the day-to-day process or quality issues and ensure that they are raised and addressed by relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Support Manufacturing and Quality Engineering in the implementation of Engineering changes, quality deviation in the production line.
- Develop reports to monitor relevant metrics/KPI, analyse and identify action plan to address issues and abnormalities.
- Initiates and participates (local and globally initiated) in the continuous improvement projects.
- Creates and/or reviews process documentation.
- Performs MRP system tasks related to this role.
**Key experiences for this role are**:
- Knowledge of Production metrics - Productivity, Efficiency, Throughput, Yield.
- Experience in leading a small to medium team.
- Production or Manufacturing Engineering experience is desirable.
- Strong MRP background (preferably SAP)
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to turn data into a meaningful report and provide comprehensive analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work well with internal departments.
**The following requirements are a must**:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in production supervisory, production engineering or manufacturing engineering role.
- University or TAFE-obtained technical degree or diploma
- Able to start on a short notice.
