Vacancies Occupational Therapist - Assistive Technology, St. Giles (Burnie, Hobart and Launceston) St. Giles Location: Tasmania - Statewide Occupation: Occupational Therapy Position Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part Time, Casual / Contract / Locum Do you want to play a key role in improving the lives of people living with disability? St. Giles is looking for passionate Occupational Therapists specialising in Assistive Technology, who are committed to providing life-changing support to children, adolescents, and adults across Tasmania. Become part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team where your expertise and contributions will make a meaningful impact! The Position This role is being offered in Burnie, Hobart and Launceston, and offers the opportunity to negotiate permanent full-time or part-time hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical care and education based on guidelines relevant to the participant’s condition Evaluate and adjust care plans regularly for effectiveness, efficiency and quality Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop integrated, high-quality care Communicate clearly with participants and families to ensure understanding and involvement in care decisions. Requirements: Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA Current Australian drivers licence National Police check (no older than 3 months) WWVP registration including NDIS worker screening check (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of NDIS participant/family centred practices is desirable Willingness to travel (interstate) if required as part of the role Flexibility to perform out-of-hours work when required The Organisation St. Giles is a leading community-based organisation in Tasmania dedicated to providing innovative and personalised support to individuals living with disability.
