Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Strategic Sales Growth Executive to join our Contract Logistics team. This key role involves identifying and pursuing business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals, and acting as the primary contact for contract logistics sales enquiries.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive profitable deal closures.
* Maintain accurate records, manage customer interactions, and oversee onboarding to ensure excellent customer solutions and satisfaction.
* Generate, nurture, and manage a robust sales pipeline with short, medium, and long-term opportunities aligned to business strategy.
* Track and analyse KPIs, forecasts, and budgets to optimise revenue streams and support strategic sales planning.
* Work cross-functionally to deliver optimal outcomes, inspire teams through conscientious leadership, and support positive conflict resolution.
Key Qualifications
* 5+ year's experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, with proven success in business development and senior-level customer management.
* Degree qualified, with additional business management training considered an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics Operating Models, including pricing and rate cards, with 5+ years focused on Contract Logistics sales development.
* Demonstrated ability in customer lead generation, high-retention relationship building, and expanding into new verticals such as freight forwarding.
* Highly organised, capable of managing priorities effectively, performing well under pressure, and skilled in consultative sales and strategic relationship management.
