About the Role
* Responsible for the performance of assays in the automated area to produce accurate, high-quality and timely results and reports.
* Oversee the quality of the Automated Chemistry section, including participating in reviewing internal and external QC and QA programs while using Excel and Q-Pulse to review and record non-conformances.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in science or applied science or equivalent.
* High level knowledge in the area of clinical and laboratory Chemical Pathology.
* High level of technical expertise in operation and trouble-shooting a range of general chemistry laboratory instrumentation.
* Relevant medical laboratory experience in a tertiary hospital or private pathology laboratory in a day-to-day management role.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team.
* Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable).
