We are looking for a business analyst to work closely with Business Systems Support Branch.
The responsibilities include:
* Development of business requirements documents in conjunction with the Customer.
* In collaboration with business users and project staff, review legislation, define user requirements and business process definitions and interpret applicable policies and procedures.
* Analyse legacy applications and provide recommendations on their ongoing requirement.
* Provide input to functional specifications and solution designs.
* Analyse issues and provide recommendation report of solutions to the Customer.
Skills required:
* Ability to work with business users, application development and project management teams.
* Business analysis and process modelling.
* Oracle environments.
* Ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures.
* Preparation of business requirements documents.
* System integration, functional and non-functional testing.
* SQL reporting tools to extract data for test purposes and to verify results.
* Logging and tracking of defects.
* Software applications relevant to a revenue collection or financial management environment.
* Excellent communications skills - ability to engage in deep technical discussions with peers.
* Western Australian Government is highly desirable.
This position is based on site in Perth.
