This position will be leading a team in our Garden Maintenance arm of the business. Assisting the Landscape Director in job planning, ensuring high quality service is delivered for our clients on a daily basis, whilst leading the team on site.
Ideally you will be a confident leader and reliable team player with a 'can do' positive attitude, that enjoys teaching junior team members (apprentices) and are always willing to pitch in to get the job done.
All applicants must meet the following criteria to apply:
* Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens, or Landscape Construction (or equivalent). As this role is training & supervising apprentices you must have a qualification in the Horticulture field.
* Min 3 years experience in garden maintenance & soft scape landscaping.
* Previous experience leading or supervising a team of 2+ people.
* Confident skills - hedging (incl on a ladder), shaping, lawn maintenance, turf installation & pest / disease treatment. Experience operating ride-on mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, and other garden machinery.
* Current C class drivers license (or higher) & confident driving with a trailer. We provide work vehicles for use while on the job. Ute package available for the right candidate.
* Current White Card (Construction Induction) and First Aid certification preferred.
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have the right to work in Australia.
* Be fit, healthy & without injury.
* A genuine passion for Horticulture / Landscaping.
* A good sense of humour - particularly around bad dad jokes.
This role is Full time – Monday to Friday.
All tools, vehicles, uniforms etc are supplied.
