About the Role
The Business Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient delivery of administrative and corporate services that support the school's operations.
Working closely with the Business Manager (Strategy & Operations) and the Principal, this position provides expert advice and practical solutions across finance, human resources, and facilities management.
The role also involves identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of school operations, ensuring the school is well-managed, compliant, and strategically supported.
Key Responsibilities
Lead diverse teams to achieve business service outcomes and model best practices in a dynamic school environment.
Provide executive administrative support, oversee recruitment, workforce planning, and professional development for school support staff.
Manage financial operations, including budgeting, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Oversee facilities management and project planning, including evaluating new projects, collaborating with contractors, and managing budgets for maintenance and improvements.
Build and maintain relationships with staff, community representatives, and other Business Managers to ensure best practice in corporate service delivery.
About You
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff.
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
Demonstrated ability to manage facilities and oversee project planning and execution.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders and influence positive change.
