**About the opportunity**
The purpose of this role is to drive consistency across the operational support function for Processing & Transport, whilst facilitating the implementation of efficiency initiatives to support the achievement of the Australia Post Group's strategic objectives. Reporting to the Head of Processing and Transport, the Operations Services Manager will be coordinating tactical activities within their program of work, focusing on consulting, testing, monitoring, and reporting on the planned transformational change program.

**You'll also**
- Coordinate tactical activities to support the processing and efficiency strategy, ensuring alignment with the Network Operations team
- Analyse data to enhance customer satisfaction, quality, and cost outcomes, driving strategies for improvement
- Provide troubleshooting support to Facility Managers, fostering success in processing efficiency programs
- Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to develop leadership capability within facilities
- Contribute to financial planning activities and offer guidance for proposed financial targets
- Optimise program resources to achieve efficiencies and 'first time delivery' success
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across processes
- Communicate NPS results, gather feedback, and drive improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture focusing on safety, wellbeing, and customer satisfaction
- Coach and mentor team members for safety, performance, and career development
- Address workplace changes, incidents, and conflicts in a timely, consultative manner
**About you**
You possess a continuous improvement mindset and robust analytical background to drive strategic decisions. Your valuable experience in change management and handling industrial relations within unionised environments equips you to navigate complexities adeptly. With a solid operational background, you bring invaluable insights to enhance efficiency and performance across our operations.

- Sound knowledge of performance metrics and cost implications
- Familiarity with delivery operations and logistics
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting, influencing and negotiation abilities
- The ability to do occasional site visits to Northgate, The Gold Coast & Redbank as required
- LEAN accreditation - highly desirable
