Our client provides specialised Retail and Commercial Property services to business and property owners, with a focus on delivering sustainable, positive dividends for all stakeholders including owners, investors, retailers, customers, and their team. An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Retail Manager or Administration Manager looking to take a step up and join an established, market-leading business.
The Role
The role offers great exposure to every aspect of retail management with a keen focus on financials and retailer relations.
1. Day-to-day management of the retail shopping centre asset
2. Maintain efficient & tight control over each Asset's operating costs
3. Prepare the income & expenditure (P&L) budget, monthly operational report, monthly sales and marketing reports, and monthly leasing reports
4. Analyse trading figures, occupancy costs & retail sales trends affecting the performance of each Asset
5. Monthly rent reviews, collections, & lease administration
6. Foster excellent relationships with tenants
7. Assist retailers with strategies to boost foot traffic
8. Collaborate with the Marketing teams to maximise/rebuild tenant mix and provide input on strategies
9. Provide leadership & direction to administrative support staff
Ideal Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will be personable and outgoing, with a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and an appreciation for process and communication.
1. Experience as a Retail Manager, Assistant Centre Manager, or Administration Manager
2. Demonstrated leadership & management skills
3. Outstanding communication & administration skills
4. Strong financial acumen
5. Excellent time management
